Bering Optics 2.6x44 eXact Precision 1st Gen NV Monocular & Sensor Reflex Sight Kit is a versatile combo that allows you to pursue a multitude of activities, including outdoors, stargazing, or precision target acquisition at night. The night vision monocular features a 1st generation intensifier tube with a resolution of 35-40 lp/mm that allows operators to use the ambient cosmic infrared light to observe the night scenery. To improve visibility on cloudy nights, during adverse weather conditions, in forested areas, or inside buildings, this NVD also has a built-in infrared illuminator that casts up to 25mW of infrared light on targets. The optical system offers a wider-than-average 44mm objective aperture for gathering more infrared light and producing brighter images, a short 4.9' minimum focus distance for observing objects or nightlife at short ranges, and 12mm of eye relief to accommodate anyone. The body features an ergonomic design with rubber armoring for a slip-free grip, two 1/4"-20 sockets for mounting on tripods, conveniently located rubberized control pad, and an integrated Weaver rail for accessories. The monocular can be an ideal companion for camping, night hiking and fishing, or star gazing.

To allow you to use this device in nighttime tactical or hunting applications, the kit provides a Sensor Reflex Sight, whose NV illumination brightness setting is ideally matched up with monocular's image intensifier tube and will not leave a footprint on the photocathode. To exploit the sights reticle for night vision use, mount the reflex sigh on same rail in front of the monocular. The sight provides a selection of four illuminated red reticle patterns and two front photo-sensors for automatic brightness regulation that adjusts according to the lighting conditions of your environment. The reticle brightness can also be switched to a manual mode, which offers six settings.
